  • Vaccinations

Did you know that routine vaccinations for puppies, kittens and adult pets help protect them against serious, preventable diseases.

Skipping vaccinations can leave your pet vulnerable to illnesses that may spread quickly, become expensive to treat, or even be life-threatening. Keeping vaccinations up to date is one of the simplest ways to support your pet’s long-term health and give them the best chance to stay protected, active and thriving.

  • Dental care

Dental problems can cause pain, bad breath, infections and trouble eating and can affect your pets overall health. A yearly dental check is recommended, or sooner if you notice bad breath, dirty teeth, bleeding gums or changes in eating.

Don't wait until they are in pain.

  • Wellness exams

Wellness exams help us make sure your pet is happy, healthy and thriving — not just when they are sick, but throughout every stage of life.

Our doctors truly love checking your animals, getting to know them, and helping you catch small concerns before they become bigger problems. A regular wellness check gives you peace of mind and helps your pet feel their best.

  • Surgery

When your pet needs surgery, we know it can feel stressful. Our doctors take every procedure seriously and plan each case carefully after a veterinary consultation.

We offer trusted soft tissue surgical services with a focus on safety, comfort and clear communication. Your pet is handled with skill and compassion.

  • Diagnostics

When your pet cannot tell us what is wrong, diagnostics help us look deeper and make better decisions.

Our diagnostic services include radiology, ultrasound, laboratory testing, in-house testing and supported external testing where needed.

  • Microchipping

A microchip is a tiny identification device, about the size of a grain of rice, placed safely under your pet’s skin. It gives your pet permanent identification and a much better chance of being reunited with you if they ever get lost.

Collars and tags can fall off, but a microchip stays with your pet for life.

Give yourself peace of mind. WhatsApp or call us to ask about microchipping your pet.

  • Nurse routine care

Nurse-supported care is for the smaller, routine things your pet may need between doctor visits, always done under the clinic’s approved practice protocols.

This can include support with things like routine vaccinations, basic follow-up checks, weighing, preventative care reminders, parasite-control guidance and general pet-care advice. It helps make everyday care easier, quicker and more convenient for pet owners, while still keeping your pet’s health in safe, professional hands.

  • Small animal care

We care for the smaller animals that mean the world to you. Family pets at home and smaller farm animals in Middelburg and surrounding areas.

Whether you need help with a dog, cat, puppy, kitten or a lamb, our team is here with gentle care, practical advice and support you can trust.

  • Geriatric/Senior Pet Care

Our senior pet care focuses on wellness checks, mobility, weight, nutrition and quality-of-life guidance to help your older pet stay as comfortable, happy and healthy as possible.

Look out for slower movement, stiffness, weight changes, sleeping more, changes in appetite, bad breath, cloudy eyes, confusion, accidents in the house, or not enjoying things they used to. Don't wait until they are struggling. The sooner we check, the sooner we can help them feel better.

  • Spaying & Neutering

Spaying or neutering does more than prevent unwanted litters. It can also help reduce certain health risks, roaming, marking, fighting and some hormone-related behaviour problems.

The right timing depends on your pet’s age, breed, size and health, but many pets can be assessed from around 5 to 6 months old. Our doctors will guide you on the safest and best time for your pet.

Unsure when to book? WhatsApp or call us and we’ll help you plan the right next step.

  • Tick & Flea Treatments

Fleas and ticks can cause skin irritation, allergies, anaemia and can spread serious diseases, especially in warmer seasons like spring and summer. But protection is still important through autumn and winter too, because parasites can survive in homes, bedding and sheltered areas.

Dogs and cats need regular prevention, but the right product depends on their age, weight, lifestyle and species. Options can include spot-ons, tablets or chews, collars, sprays and home-environment treatments.

  • Nail Clipping

Nothing like a good paw-dicure. When nails get too long, they can make walking uncomfortable, cause slipping, change how your pet stands and even put extra pressure on their joints. Some pets wear their nails down naturally, while others seem to grow tiny tap shoes overnight, especially indoor pets, senior pets and pets who prefer the couch life.

Our team clips gently, calmly and with lots of patience, while keeping an eye out for sore paws or sensitive nails. Not sure if those click-clacks are getting too loud? WhatsApp or call us and we’ll help.

  • Weight clinic

Our Weigh Clinic is about more than just a number on the scale. Your pet’s weight can affect their joints, heart, energy, breathing, mobility and long-term health. Even small weight changes can make a big difference to how they feel every day. Our team will help assess your pet’s body condition, guide you on feeding amounts, treats, lifestyle and healthy weight goals. Unsure if your pet is carrying extra weight? WhatsApp or call us and we’ll help you take the next gentle step. Read more about our Wellness Programs. We've got the perfect program for you.

  • Routine deworming

Deworming is not only for pets that are scratching. Internal parasites can affect your pet’s tummy, weight, appetite, coat condition and overall health. Some worms can also spread to other pets and, in certain cases, people.

Treatments depend on your pet’s age, lifestyle, risk level and environment. Puppies and kittens usually need more regular deworming, while adult pets often need it every 3 months, depending on their exposure.

It is especially important to stay consistent during warmer months and if they spend time outdoors.

  • Anal gland and ear cleaning

Ear and anal gland problems can make pets uncomfortable, itchy, restless or even painful. Signs to watch for include head shaking, scratching at the ears, bad odour, scooting, licking, swelling or irritation.

Our team can assist with gentle ear cleaning and anal gland care when needed, and guide you if there are signs of infection or a deeper problem.

If your pet seems uncomfortable, do not wait. WhatsApp or call us for advice.
