Refund / Return Policy

At Central Vet Midwater, returns and refunds are handled with care and assessed according to the type of product, its condition, proof of purchase, the timing of the request, and any legal, safety or veterinary restrictions that may apply.

7-Day Return Window for Qualifying Online Purchases

For qualifying non-defective products purchased online, customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving the goods, where applicable under South African law. Items returned under this ordinary 7-day return window must be new, unopened, unused, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. Proof of purchase, such as the original receipt or online order confirmation, is required.

How to Return an Item

Returns are handled in store at Central Vet Midwater and may be inspected before an exchange or refund is completed. No restocking fee applies to approved returns.

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

If an item is damaged, incorrect or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible. Where possible, include clear photos of the product, packaging and receipt or order details so that our team can review the matter quickly. Rights relating to defective or unsafe goods are not limited by the ordinary 7-day return window.

Products That May Not Be Returnable

For health, safety and legal reasons, certain products may not be eligible for return once supplied, except where applicable law provides otherwise. This may include opened food, medicine-related items, prescription products, pharmaceutical products, vet-approved products, special-order items and any product that cannot safely or legally be resold.

Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds may be subject to inspection and approval, except where a customer has a legal right to a remedy. Once a return has been received and checked, any refund due will be processed by Central Vet Midwater within 7 days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the funds in your account.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights that customers may have under applicable South African consumer law.
