Delivery Policy

We know that keeping up with your pet’s everyday needs is not always easy, especially when life is busy or you are simply trying to make sure their usual food, supplements and care products do not run out. To make the practical side of caring for your pet a little easier, Central Vet Midwater offers local delivery to selected Middelburg areas for eligible products at a fixed fee of R45.

Our delivery service is there to add a little convenience to your day while helping you keep your pet’s routine on track. We will always do our best to make the process clear and simple, and if you are unsure about anything, our team is only a message or phone call away.

Where we currently deliver

Local delivery is currently available to Aerorand, Clubville, Dennesig, Eastdene, Gholfsig, Kanonkop, Middelburg Suid and Mineralia.

We keep our delivery area carefully planned around our current routes and the daily needs of the clinic and shop. This helps us offer delivery in a way that remains practical and dependable while still giving our patients and customers the attention they deserve. Delivery areas may therefore be adjusted from time to time as routes, team capacity and address accessibility change.

If your area is not currently listed, please do not worry. You are still very welcome to choose in-store collection from Central Vet Midwater, Shop 50, Midwater Centre.

Delivery days and cut-off time

Our local delivery service is available Monday to Friday, with a delivery cut-off of 5pm. We do our best to prepare eligible orders as promptly as possible, but orders placed after the cut-off may need to move to the next available delivery day.

Delivery timing can also be affected by stock availability, confirmation of your delivery details, the day’s route and team capacity. If something affects the delivery of your order, we will do our best to guide you towards the most practical next option.

A little note about delivery availability

Because our delivery service is managed alongside a busy veterinary clinic and pet shop, there may occasionally be times when a route needs to change or when collection is the better option. Delivery is offered according to our current delivery routes, operational capacity and the accessibility of the delivery address.

We understand that you may be ordering something your pet relies on as part of their normal routine. That is why we would rather be clear with you about what we can safely and reliably arrange than make a promise we cannot keep. Where delivery cannot be offered, our team will gladly assist with in-store collection.

Which products can be delivered?

Many everyday pet-care essentials may be eligible for local delivery, including selected pet food, supplements, tick and flea products and routine care items. Product eligibility is also subject to stock availability and any veterinary or handling requirements that may apply.

Some products need a little more care before they can leave the practice. Prescription food, pharmaceutical products and medicine-related items are subject to veterinary approval and may require confirmation of your pet’s history, an in-store visit or collection before they can be supplied. These extra checks are there to help make sure that the right product reaches the right pet and that it is supplied responsibly.

In-store collection

If delivery is not available to your area, a particular product is not suitable for delivery, or you simply prefer to collect your order yourself, in-store collection remains available from Central Vet Midwater, Shop 50, Midwater Centre during normal shop operating hours.
